You need the 3 essentials for proper engine operation.Fuel,spark,and compression.You said the fuel pump is working but the question remains;is fuel reaching the fuel rail.Try starting the car and then take one spark plug out and check it for fuel odor.
one thing to try is spray starting fluid in the intake if it runs on that you have a fuel problem if it won't run at all on that it would be a spark problem
Hey man the best thing i can think of is to take a close look at another 97 f150 to see where your wires are going. Or the repair manual should show the wire setup.
First I would spray carburator cleaner into the intake(remove air filter) then if it don't start, check for spark. Reconnect your O2 sensor tho. That won't keep it from starting. Are you sure that you connected all the plug wires to the right plugs?
