I have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 360 ,I put the truck in the garage sometime around late Oct early November, I use it for outside work so when it freezes I'm done with. This time last year I landed a small job and needed it when I went to use it, it would start right up then as soon as it warmed up it would start loosing power and miss then stall at a light.I got to the job and it sat and cooled off for about 7 hours, as soon as I stared home and it warmed up it starts to miss and then stalls when it needed to idle (it always starts back up) I replace the fuel pump, coil, wires, plugs, idle sensor, and some other sensor on the throttle body,it seemed to clear it up for the most part but it still would get sluggish when it got hot and I had a load on,but still kept going, now I'm wanting to use it this coming week, it has set for 40 days I took it out for a ride and the same thing is happening, starts great idles great until temp comes up and then just like if you turn the key off it stalls,(always starts back up of course)I let it sit and cool for a few hours starts idles for 20 min the bang stalls.I'm ready to launch it in the lake. can you give me some ideas of what it might be or is.Thank you Mike
You may have a catylitic convertor that is clogged or partially clogged. Loosening the exhust at the manifolds and leave idleing and see if it still dies.
You might want to clean the throttle body. And the I.A.C. passage in the throttle body. Also check the resistance of the coolant temp sensor.
Have you tried changing the temp sensor
