Question about 2001 Toyota Sequoia
I engaged the 4 wheel drive by pressing the 4 wheel drive button on the dashboard. Now the little indicator on the dashboard keeps on blinking the little red dot in the middle, and it wont disengage the 4 wheel drive.
Not sure if this works with your car or not but it's worth a try.
Place in park
put foot on the brake
place car in neutral
If your car has a button marked 2wd push it. This should return you to 2wd mode
return car to park
turn off motor and remove foot from the brake.
BUT the best thing you can do is read your owners manual if you do not have one call your nearest Toyota dealer and ask for the service department and ask them how to put it back into 2wd
