Question about 2001 Ford Explorer Sport
2001 sport trac is stuck in 4x4 low. can not get it back to 2x4
I know GM's have the same problem, I'll give you that soultion and if it works great, if not, sorry. Start your truck, step on the break, shift tranni into netural, and then try putting it back into 2 wheel. Simple solution but like I said, I don't know if it will work with fords or even if it's a more serious problem like linkage, acuator for your 4x4 system, or if push button, if it's the switch itself. Any of these could be the cause, but normally the simplest solution is the best.
