Average is 10litres/100km
dont touch airbags, sealed unit, and any tampering could set it off
most radiators are double or triple core already,
good luck

What is the average distance i can travel with 40l?

Hi Kevin:
That all depends on how many litres of fuel your vehicle consumes and will vary depending on driving conditions, speed, technique, engine condition, and goodness knows what else.

Let's guess and say you're using 10 litres per 100 km.
40 divided by 10 equals 4
4 times 100 equals 400km

What you will need to do is use your rate of fuel consumption with this calculation.

Oil comsuption

When a engine is using a lot of oil it means that the oil rings are starting to wear out, causing oil it seep up into the cylinder and burn in the chamber it's nothing serious just keep the oil up to it, or sell it.

Poor gas comsuption on my passat 1.8T

Changing the gasfilter when lready too much gas gets through does not make much sense.
Inspecting the airfilter and if needed replacing it is the first that comes to mind.
However if it's excessive I would suspect a fuel management problem like oxygen sensor, MAF sensor and the like.
And those cannot be diagnosed by looking at them.

My mitsubishi fuel comsuption is increasing every week .why?

Your exhaust gas recycling valve (egr valve) is probably stuck. Locate it, take it off, un-stick it, clean it, and put it back on. If you are careful you can reuse the metal gaskets. Of if it is damaged replace it. When you are not putting some exhaust gas back into the combustion chamber, you have to put in more gasoline/air mixture , thus , your gas mileage goes down. Also , check to see that your air filter is not dirty or plugged.
