My driver side wiper seems "slower" than the right one - therefore throwing them off and causing them to stick and hit one another. The driver wiper will not go all the way over to clear the window either. It stops half way across the windshield.

I replaced the wiper arm and bolts and still it has not fixed the problem.

I simply hate Chevy! Now I have to take it to the dealer to have it fixed (cha-ching!) This is the absolute DUMBEST design in the world! WTG Chevy!

sounds like the splines could be wore, if not then you will need to take the arm off and reset position, making sure you tighten it full afterwards

Check the retainer nuts on the wiper arms. One might be loose.

My front wipers on my 2004 Chevy Venture only work manually and in very fast motion!

Your problem is going to be the wiper resistor. It is located on the passenger side under the dash. Click this LINK to see what the resistor looks like.

My wipers on my 2004 Chevy Venture don't work properly. The driver side does not work but the passanger side does. The driver side moves freely, so when i move it all the way up, it falls over the side...

There are nuts on the wiper arm posts under plastic caps[ if still there ] they looen sometimes and the arm won't move turn off the wipers so the 'park' and check the nut for tightness - should be quite snug. it that dosen't fix it then you have a linkage problem from the motor.

I an '03 Chevy Venture van whose windshield wipers won't go down.

Your windshield arm is in need of repositioning. Take off the cap on the windshield arm and loosen the nut under the cap. Reposition the arm so that it faces 180 degrees flat to the passenger side of the car. Tighten the nut. This should solve the problem you've described.
