Hi Kevin & Sylvia,
I can't supply you with a code but I know who can!
I'm in the U.K. and possibly you are too? it doesn't matter as you'll need to pop along to your Toyota Dealership with the Title/Log book, proof of ownership and your identification (Driving license should do) and they should be only too glad to supply the details you require, however you may be charged for the code.
Please press the Blue Button to appraise My FREE! efforts, Thank You! & Good Luck,
Paul 'W' U.K.

I managed to cancel code to reset the radio for my Toyota Corolla 2007 Ascent after I changed a new battery. What should I do now with 3 lines --- appear? Do I have to key in my own choice of numbers?

toyota ascent are fitted with different radios during the model production run

the glove box owner manual should have a card with a 3 or 4 digit number you enter into the radio
.if missing contact or take the ascent to a toyota service center and you get the correct code using the vin number

Why doesn't clock and radio work after installation of new battery?

Enter security code, it is in your owners manual within first few pages. It is written in by tech who checked vehicle out before delivery of vehicle. If no manual you will need to bring it in to dealer so they can look up code.

I need the radio code for a 2005 kia sedona

Unfortunately, that's something you'll most likely have to call the dealer about. I had a GM that had the same problem and the dealer wanted $80 just to look into their records to retrieve the code. Needless to say I bought an aftermarket radio for about $20 more.
Check your Owner's Manual book first. Sometimes the code will be printed somewhere on the inside of the front/back page or in the section that covers the code system itself. If nothing else, the manual may instruct you how to reset the system for just this situation.

I jump start my car battery and the radio stop workig

This is 'nornal': when you loose battery power or remove the car battery, the anti-theft funtion of your radio system will be enabled: you need to consult your specific car (radio) user manual to enter the radio security code which is normally a 4 digit code (originally provided when with new car manual or the radio if it is an aftermarket radio). The original car dealer may also have the radio security code.

Hope it heps.

I cant find the fuse box on my toyota corolla 02 reg because my cd player and clock dont work

A fuse would more likely cause more systems than the radio to fail.If the battery was disconnected, you need the lockout code from the dealer. If your battery was not disconnected, just reply back to this post and I will get an auto link and we'll try something else.Greg

Chrysler Voyager 2003 battery went dead now radio won't even turn on, clock doesn't work

i assume you put a new battery in,van runs but no radio or clock, check all your fuses first, and also make sure that radio doesnt have anti theft system, if it does then read your manualy on how to enter the code,if it needs a code then it wont work until code is entered, careful if you do the code entering wrong three times then radio shuts down for one hour, then you would need to have the key on or van running for one hour straight,

Car radio removal

This isn't hard, you just need to breath deeply and take courage.

Be aware that the centre moulding where the radio is extends ove the steering wheel and the whole thing needs to come out. There are screws under the switches that release this panel and the panel under the wheel. Remove them all. Note the cables for the instrument lights and speaker.

Note the grommet around the ignition switch. You have to work this with a screwdriver so the top panel can come forward. This grommet will pull off but I bet you can't do it before the panel comes off. Do it before you put it back.

The panel is click-fit into the centre console. You can lever it off with a paint scraper. Note the lighter wiring.

Once the panel is off the radio is held in by 4xcrosshead screws, just looking at you.

Needless to say, the brackets are exclusively Toyota and fitting a new third party radio is not so easy. Your best bet for a replacement is a good one out of a wreck of the same vintage. It will go straight in and plug up. I got a Camry one. It has security coding but fortunately it was never activated. If the radio is coded make sure you get the full details and provenance. You may need to get it reset by the dealer.

Good luck
