Question about 1999 Chrysler Sebring
All symptoms occured at same time.
1) Select drive. Gearbox changes from 1 to 2 only and on stopping remains in 2 until neutral selected again. (Vehicle also drives in reverse.)
2) Speedometer does not rise from zero.
3) No prior problem with battery, new.
Now if left connected, battery goes completely flat. If disconnected it stays fully charged.
Mileage 23,000 Km. (yes 23,000)
Baffled. Reg Sturman.
Well going off of typical chrysler problems and since I dont have the car or any codes I would say professionally speaking, replace the input and output sensors on the trans get them thru chrysler they are pretty cheap $15.00 each or so have a goodd day DB
