Question about 1997 Ford Expedition
My 4x4 ford expedition rear differential makes a winding noise, can this be fixed or shuld i buy a used one.Thank's
Yes this can be fixed. Sounds like your spider gears have decided to cause you problems. If you can't do the repairs yourself take it to a good gear shop. They can replace the shims and or bearings. Do not attempt this if you know nothing about setting up gears. Don't waste your money by purchasing a used differential. Like I said a good gear shop can do this for you. Shouldn't cost to much.
