Question about 1995 Ford Windstar
I have a windstar 1995 ford windstar van and I went to replace my
theromostat and everything went fine but when i went out side this morning it was leaking near the gasget
if you can help me that would be great!!!!
Thank you so very much for your time
Its always a good idea to replace the thermostat housing every few years as they warp,if you dont have the extra cash you can remove the leaky one,and put the new thermostat in the block put a thin layer of good silicone around the stat, take another thin layer and apply it to the housing then you really dont need a gasket but you can still use one with this method, replacing the old bolts is a good idea also and that way you can tighten them correctly with no fear.have a good day DB
