Starts fine idles fine until driven, when accelerating it sputters like its starved or flooded thru 1st, 2nd, 3rd. the more i drive it the worse it gets. New cap&rotor, plugs, water treatment in the fuel system, all made improvement but problem persists. Comp reads 3 codes; TPS sensor, MAF Sensor Intake temp sensor

Possible egr valve problem, you can start with disconnecting the vacuun source to it and see if it rubs better but if its stuck open you may not notice any change, you can look underneath the valve with a light and mirror and apply vacuum to the valve and watch for the diaphram to move up and down, have you checked tec ecu for codes? if you need more info let me know have a good day DB

Sputters and dies on cold start, significant drop in gas mileage.

You need to rebuild the carburetor or clean the choke linkage and make sure the choke valve closes cold.

Was loping in drive, would have to put in neutral, now stalling in neutral, at first i thoght it was the fuel injector, not sure

engine runs smooth if giving more than idle pressure. It is when the motor is engaged with transmission at start the engine lopes and wants to cut off. If I press the throttle hard it takes right off. If I come to a stop I can put transmission in neutral to keep it from cutting off. This creates a shifting that is not normal and I'm afraid it is a sign of failure coming.

86 mustang 5.0 fuel injected. At cold, starts great and runs stong and firm. After driving about 10-15 mins it starts sputtering and wants to lope and die at idle. Driving, it hardly idles at a stop and...

Your fuel air mixture is wrong. Just like a choke. When it is cold it dumps more fuel in, when it warms up it is supposed to mix in more air. It does not seem to be doing this. You need to have that adjusted. In the meantime you can adjust you idle a little higher. You can do this by adjust a screw where the throttle cable sits on top of the engine.... Please give a good rating, it reaaly means a lot. Please feel free to keep in touch
