SOURCE: Possible Choke

it would have been helpful if you stated the year of the car but it sounds to me like it is the fuel filter or the fuel pump

I just had this problem and replaced the camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor, and coolant temp sensor. i replaced these items because of high mileage. try these but first check your relays located under the hood on the passenger side. sometimes they get hot and fail.

It sounds like you may have burned out your fusable link. It's a special wire that comes off the starter solennoid and is designed to burn off in the event of an overload. DO NOT REPLACE IT WITH REGULAR WIRE, THIS IS A LEADING CAUSE OF CAR FIRES.
You will want to check for what caused the overload condition that caused the fusable link to burn out in the first place.

Testimonial: "never thought of that great idea ill replace it and let u know thanks alot appreciate your time"

2015. Where is kill swich located and can I remove it?

Kill switch for what ? Chevy's do not have kill switches ! You need to watch what you mess with on new vehicles , you have no idea of the electronics incorporated into your vehicle . You can play with the wiring if you want but mess with the wrong stuff you can render your vehicle useless ! Take it to the dealer !

Refueled my 2006 cts now it won't start

had the same thing happen to me. dealership told me it was a safety feature that when it runs out of gas it wont start again without clearing the code so they said. I hade mine towed to dealership and let them mess with it, cause I also put more gas in it and eventually drained my battery trying to start it.

How do you install a kill switch on a honda accord 96'?

I would not recommend messing with any electrical in your car if you don't know what your doing.
It would require you to splice open your ignition power cord. connect into a ground with a kill switch. so whenever your kill switch is active no power is running to your ignition. thus no start.

How do i start my toyota camry after i have hit the kill switch?

I guess you tried reversing the kill switch. But did you try it after you put the ignition on? Some switches work this way. Try different things. ignition on, ignition off, etc

1992 F-150 Won't stay running,even if you pump/push on the gas.

Sounds like the pump is not getting power all the time. I know you said you replaced the connector to the pump, but have you replaced the pump. It sounds like the pump has a short in it. Also when it does not work have you tried hitting the reset button on it to see if it will start working. Try this next time and if it starts working after messing with the switch the problem is in the switch.

Wont start after 6 mos. I changed the spark plug, drained & added fresh gas, checked the fuel filter... Kicks over fine. Ran for 4 seconds, then it died. Always ran & started great before.

With a new plug and fresh gas it should start. Check to make sure there isn't a kill switch turned off or that the gas petcock from the tank to the carb is on.

How did you check the fuel filter? Disconnecting it from the fuel line that goes to the carb is the best way, making sure the gas is turned on under the tank. Bleed off a little gas into a can or something just to make sure the filter isn't plugged.

The last thing I'd do is take off the air filter and spray a little starting fluid in the carb. It may start and run several times if there is old gas in there somewhere. Remember the bowl on the carb is probably still full of old gas. After some fresh fuel reaches the plug it should start and continue to run.

(You might drain the bowl on the carb of ols gas before you go any further)

Good luck!
