The heater does not work on my 2002 chevrolet s10. What is problem?

Fuse in the fuse panel , or heater core temperature sensor switch , next if it blows but no heat coming thur vents check the raditor for collant level also possible heater core thanks

not really. IT is under the dash on the passenger side. You should put some plastic down or pull the carpet or it will get soaked with anti freeze

On my 2002 S10 (chevy) My heater blower only works on high, do i replace the motor or the resister. Where is each one located.
My 2002 s10 did the same thing I went to the trouble tearing apart the dash panles on the floor but the part is right under the hood, passenger side on the firewall. 3 screws hold it and there's a plug attached. Takes 5 mins to fix. I lost 2 hours looking under the dash for it.

Where is locate the heater control valve 02 S10 4.3
It will be in line with the heater hoses near the firewall on passengers side.

I have a 1998 s10 and the heater switch will only work on dash ve
sounds like a heater control cable has come off, try looking under dash by the passenger side (may need to remove some trim)and see if you can see any control cables...

How do you get to the heater core in a chevy s10 --I have removed the dash but can not get to the heater core
Passenger side bottom of heater box remove bolt. Engine side on fire wall behind distributor remove nut. Now, on top of evaporator box remove small plate with wires on it. Look inside, remove that bolt. The heater box will come out. There are only 2 bolts and 1 nut to hold box in place.

The heater on my chev. s10 blazer works sometimes
check antifreeze. if the window fogs up alot its probably the heater core. is your passenger floor wet?

There is a black covering on passenger side that should have four screws in it. You should find the heater core hidden inside the casing.

Had new blower put in Chevy 2002 S10 in 2007 and it is out again.
did they chg. the resister when this was done? if not, than thats your problem. heater blower motor resister controls speed of blower. most of the time before it goes out completely it will only run on a couple of speeds or maybe just one speed, but eventuly quit compleatly. sometimes the plug for the resister burns and that has to be chg. too. if you still got your recept from this job i would see if its got a breakdown of what they got listed as far as parts they replaced. if this was done at a dealership i'll bet the 411.00 was just for replacing the heater motor.
