It is possible that she either sucked water in to the intake causing your MAF (Mass air flow sensor) to short. Or worst case vapor locked the engine. Hope for MAF. Can you relay some of the symptoms that you are having as in will the engine even turn over? Does it act like it wants to start? It is possible that she shorted the entire system out which could include the ECU.
That would make sense, because when he jumped your car if he left it hooked up for awhile. Then he charged your battery up, so it started the next day. Then you drove to his shop and back it ran the battery down. It's easy enough to test and change alternators you could take it to autozone or O'Reillys if there is one close they can test your alternator. did u follow the wire from the tank even check the plug there if the car drove fine for ten mins then u must of went over the short some where get a cheap multimeter turn the key on and go from there check everything oh and umm take a deep breath im sure u can find it lookfor anything chafed exposed broken wires
