HELLO I HAVE A 2006 RAM 1500 QUAD CAB 4.7 LITER AUTO WITH RWAL ABS MY PROBLEM IS THE ABS LIGHTS AND BRAKE LIGHT STAYS ON CHECKED THE BRAKES ,CHECKED AND REPLACED SPEEDSENSOR /ABS SENSOR ON REAR END FLUID IS FULL ON MASTERCYLINDER NO LEAKS GREAT PEDAL PUT IT ON SCANNER SNAPON WITH DODGE KEY SAYS ONLY C2206 WITCH IS MISCONFIGURATION ? ANY BODY HAVE ANY IDEALS THIS IS GOTY ME PULLIN MY HAIR OUT ?LOL

Just a thought but, disconnect the battery for 10 to 15 minutes to reset the memory. You might have a computer that is not resetting.

Also, even after resetting you might need to drive it to "force computer to recognize the faults are cleared.

That I have seen yes I would think it is Behind the Brake Padel the switch is there and may be damaged or defective but that where i would start hope that might help

more than likely its the speed sensor which is the abs each wheel has one just run an obd11 code reador on it it will tell ya which one price on my ford it ran about 41 dollars

Free brake light wiring diagram

- Check for continuity across the stop lamp switch when it is CLOSED.
- If the vehicle is equipped with Rear Wheel Anti-Lock (RWAL) brakes, circuit F32 connects to the RWAL module. Check bulbs in tail light and wiring in the rear also

check the sensors and connections may have loosened or knocked one loose if they look ok than have truck scanned most auto stores such as auto zone/advanced auto scan for free the trouble code will narrow the problem

Do the taillights work? If so it might just be the bulb. If not then the wiring is broke some where or loose.

2002 dodge 1500 sport speedometer or cruise control


The brake and ABS light both come on when you are receiving no speed signal. Most likely the speed sensor in the top of the rearend is bad.
