Question about 1996 GMC Sierra
I REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY 3 MONTHS AGO AND HAS BEEN RUNNING FINE. I WAS GETTING OFF THE FREEWAY AND EVERYTHING JUST TURNED OFF. I PUT IT IN PARK AND RESTARTED JUST FINE, BUT IT DIED AGAIN A MINUTE OR TWO LATER. WHAT'S THE DEAL???? THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN THINK IT MIGHT BE IS CORRODED OR FAULTY WIRING TO/FROM THE ALTERNATOR AND OR BATTERY. PLEASE HELP,,,,,THANKS!
I would try replacing the fuel filter and checking for faulty or loose plug wires
