Question about 1996 Oldsmobile Aurora
My 96 Aurora one day started jumping in and out of drive and then just got stuck in second gear, manually shifting doesn't help. No signs of slipping before this happened but check engine light is on. Trans has only got 122,000 miles on it. Any ideas?
Its the shift solenoid theres 2 of them ones about 100 bucks the other was 45 mine had the same problems i paid a guy 100 bucks to drop the pan and change the switch shifts like new happened at about 128000 miles
