Re: 2003 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER HEATER FAN ONLY WORKS ON HIGH
If it was me i would check all of the fuse first the one under the dash on the driver side and there is also one under the hood as well look in your owner manual and it will tell you which one and the relay is in the fan itself so check out the wires at the fan first and if its bad checkout a good salvage yard for one if you can not find one here a place that sells only GMparts schram auto&truck parts # is 1-800-292-1032

Hi. There happens to be a common problem with these trailblazers inside the ducting box located under the dashboard. The mode actuator door motor stops working due to a faulty motor itself and the default position is defrost only. As far as the Air Conditioning not working, there maybe another problem to diagnose there. Could be low refrigerant, or electrical problems to the compressor, or faulty fan clutch(another very common problem with these trucks). Type in mode actuator door and 2005 trailblazer in your search engine online i.e. Google or Yahoo and you will find many posts about this problem. I think there may even be a Youtube video about replacing it. Let me know you need more help. Thanks.
Your problem is most likely the fan relay. It is normally under the hood in the fuse box. Open the fuse box locate the fan relay (most are labeled ) If labeled tap on that relay and the fan should shut off if it does the relay needs to be replaced. If its not labeled tap on the relays one at a time till it shuts off. The one you tap that shuts it off is bad pull it out like a fuse and replace it. 4 thumbs up is appreciated if this helps.
well, check the fuse/relay then you will need to remove the control panel to access the switch then check the switch its self in all positions with a volt meter. if none of those things have found the prob then you prob have a bad blower motor. most likely its a fuse/relay usualy or a switch. when a motor goes it usually will still blow on high. if its out completely it ususaully smells like burnt tape.dont worry its prob something simple and cheap, ie fuse/relay.
