Question about 2003 Pontiac Sunfire
I replace the battery in my Daughters 2003 Sunfire and the fuel gauge stopped working. My friend at work told me to remove the positive cable to reset the ECU and this worked to fix the fuel gauge but the speedo was off by 20mph. Then the fuel gauge ended up messing up again the other day. Did I install the battery incorrectly? I did not think so because their are only 2 wires to hook up.
Usually its the negitive terminal you disconnect for about 30 secs. tyr that. if that doesnt do it, its possible you shorted something out.
