Question about 1995 Pontiac Sunfire
Well our car went over a bump and then starting making this "clunk" noise every bump we hit; small or big. I know that my back right suspension is loose; just wondering the cost to fix it. Looked everywhere and no answer...
Sounds like your strut is loos at the tower, or you need a new strut. If you want to give it a shot, you can pull the plastic away from the little "strut hump" in the trunk, and tighten the bolts. In the front, you should be able to see the towers on each side. It should be 3-4 bolts in a triangle, with a large bolt in the middle on each side above the fender. You will probably need an adjustable wrench, and allen wrench, and some sockets.
