Question about 2000 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cabs
I would like to convert a 1970 ford f250 into a 4x4 using the drive train from a 1979 ford f250 4x4. I was wondering if it is possible
Yes this is possible. But , keep in mind you need to have a good stick welder and be proficient in metal fabrication to make custom parts. I would not attempt this unless you are very good at fabrication.

Its possible, myself i think it would be easier to put the sheetmetal from the 70 onto the 79 frame, but you can do it either way, but you might need a torch and welder, and a good drill and drill bits, i think if the cab mounts from the 70 match up with the mounts on the frame of the 79 it would be easier to switch the cab, box, and front end off the 70 to 79. there isent enough room here to explane everything, if you got questions i got answers. Just ask.
