Question about 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
My friend's OnStar is not activated. The button on the mirror was pushed by accident. Now every time you open the door, sit on the seats, turn on the car and radio the OnStar says "OnStar not activated". She has called OnStar and they say its a dealer problem and the dealer says its an OnStar problem. The dealer told her to remove the panel in the back of the car by the windows but there is nothing to remove. How do you get this to turn off or can it be unplugged? Please help. Thank you,
The OnStar module is under the rear seat, passenger side. You should be able to just pull the connectors out of the module. Just the rectangular ones.
The dealer is thinking about the power amplifier for the Bose radio system. That's in the fender at the right rear of the car, but that's not the issue here.
