If you want to do it right, you will have to have a set of spring compressors to ensure you can get the springs off safely. Do you really want a total breakdown of instructions?

Hard to find parts for a Damante, I'd call around junk yards for the control arms. You can probably find an aftermarket replacement for the struts at a parts store. Take them with you so you can find a reasonable facsimile.

I have a squeaking noise in my front suspension

What you have is either a strut noise, or a ball joint noise. If the ball joint is bad, then that is your culprit, and if it is not then I would change the strut.

Location of rear sruts on 1996 geo prizm

the struts are where the shock absorbers used to be on the older cars... they are what keep your tires on the ground ... so are vertically hung right behind the wheel pressing down...

Replaced timing belt and noticed the rubber bushings in the torque struts were broken. Right engine mount rubber also cracked, Did not replace them and the engine jumps up when put in drive.Do I need to...

hi yes it would be adviseable to replace all three, if they are broken its a sure sign they need replacing, if not you could cause more damage to other parts like exhaust and gear linkage and maybe fuel lines ( these suffer from bad fuel lines as it is ) so to save a lot of bucks spend a few..hope this helps

Coil spring

may need alignment after new coil spring (and/or strut assembly)...recommend that you allow a shop to do this...if you are skilled mechanic, you can do it by scribing marks before srut removal and matching marks after strut re-installed.
