Fan stopping on when stopped draing battery

the cooling fan stays on when car is turned of how/were is the sensor has any one got any schematics that i can look at how d i get to the cooling fan sensor ???

sometimes they stay on for a bit to allow the engine to cool down after being driven.even after you shut the car off. helps to cool the engine better and faster
