93 Geo Metro steering trouble

my guess is a bad governor.
bad throttle valve, on rear of tranny, either the cable one, or vacuum one.
the tests are all in the FSM and online at alldata.com, for $15

This is because the switch is different from the 93.You need to get one from the same year if you want it to work.You should be able to get one from most part stores.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Main fuse box is located in left kick panel next to park brake pedal. Should be about where left knee is (maybe a little to left of left knee) when sitting in drivers seat (under dash).

There is another one with all the big fuses under hood on driver's side next to fender . ----------- For more details, There's a white box behind remove the 3 screws on the panel under the steering wheel, the wide gray one and pull it out of your way, pulls straight back to you. If you still need more access to the fuse box straight up is a #10 hex bolt, remove it, the other side on the kick panel is a thumb nut you can take off and the box should pull down for better access. As it will look loose, there will be a cover over the fuses and of course I have some plugs unplugged after I removed the steering column; Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Have the rear wheel bearing checked and check the outer tie rods checked for play.

check the TP Sensor. might need adjusted or replaced. Also could be the Catalytic converter. theres actually 2 on the exhaust and me living in Ohio we dont have emissions so im gonna hack both of um off and just run a str8 pipe from the header back. theres an extra fuse spot i believe its on the left side of the fuse panel. its raised up a lil higher then all the other fuses in it. throw a fuse in it and turn the key on the check engine light will blink a code or multiple codes. i.e. 2 flashes small pause 2 flashes is code 22 wich is the TPS. 2 flashes small pause 1 flash can also be the TPS 1 is low voltage the other is high voltage. but u can pull the whole list of codes from google type in 93 Geo Metro Trouble Codes Hope this helps

As long as they are the same type of engine ( I believe they should both be 1.0L 3 cyl engines). Most parts for the Geo Metro from 1992 to 1994 interchange with out a problem.

engine code U is 9.1
engine code 6 is 10
add for AC 1.3
add skid plate0.2
the trans depends on 2 wheel drive 4 wheel drive?
and auto or manual.

and as for you question about the 93 engine only if its the same engine code.

You will need to visit an auto salvage yard.
The same top will fit from any 90-93 Geo Metro, Suzuki Swift or Pontiac Firefly.
