Re: how do I change headlights 1994 Sonoma?
Look under the hood. Follow the wires to the headlights, disconnect the wires from the bulb, twist and pull lthe bulb out. They are hidden a biit under there, keep looking.

Assuming you can't find access to the headlights, like a lot of newer cars, then try this:
If you don't have access to the lights under the hood. Look around the headlights outside. There must be a screw on or under the headlight mount. maybe under the bumper.
But if you have access to the bulbs now, then use gloves to replace the bulbs if they are the newer hot bulbs. A finger print on those bulbs can cause it to explode.
Some bulbs twist and turn out, others just pull out straight.
Hope this helps.
most cars you have access from the engine compartment unplug the wiring going to the headlight under the hood behind the light then turn it to the left and when it clears the notches it will come out. If it is not accessable you may have to remove the headlight assy If you cant get to the bolts that mount the headlight then you will have to remove the front bumper cover to access the mount bolts.
