Drill out the old bolt then take and retap it that is the olny thing you can do or it will leak all the time

How to fix the aluminium cracked connector to the engine and clutch hydraulic pipe hose for ford focus 1.8 petrol s reg

If it's broke completely off, try and JB Weld it. JB Weld comes in a tube with a separate hardener tube. Mix a batch together and apply as per directions. It's pretty sturdy stuff.
If it's just cracked, maybe a machine shop could patch it back together. Otherwise, you may need extreme help...;

Transmission fluid cool line running into the radiator has a pin hole leak.

I would drain the lines, put JB weld over the hole and all the way around so it won't blow off by the pressure after it's dry.
They also sell a JB weld underwater putty that work real good!

Or you could get a rubber hose and splice it and put over it and then use hose clamps on the spot on on the hole and then one for each end. Just about 3" of a piece will work

Ok i went to replace my thermostat and the bolts broke off so i got it off and grinded the bolts down and drilled them out made new threads reassembeld everything and its leaking i found out whil grinding...

Buy some silicon gasket maker and place a bead of silicone on the thermostat housing and around the bolt holes. This will take care of the leak once the housing is bolted back in place, just follow the instructions for the use of the silicon gasket maker. Note there a a few different types of silicon gasket maker, so read the product first before buying it. Good luck and your car should be back running 100% again.

1992 ford explorer. Hit a deer. Messed up front end. Need to replace gasket behind timing chain cover to fix water leak. Already replaced water pump. still have the leak. Can timing chain cover be replaced...

sounds like the engin took a real wack????
i hope you eat that deer!! its cost you dear to fix it?
you could do the gasket in place but its a right old job,,,when mine started leaking i just tiped in a big bottle of rad weld or block weld (stop leak) what ever you call it,,, it stoped the leak dead in its tracks for years (3 or 4 years) till i sold the truck??
as for bad running yes it could be the crank sensor or that water leak getting every thing wet??

Looking for thermastat housing

You are right indeed it is called a thermostat housing.

It might be sealed with a gasket, or o-ring, or it might be sealed with silicone. The small line on it is probably a vent for purging air ouf of the cooling system.

Sorry, I do not know any part numbers, but any Daewoo dealer parts department should be able to find you one in a flash.

Some aftermarket parts stores (NAPA, Pep Boys to name a few...) might be able to find you one too, but I`m not 100% sure on this one... Sometimes Daewoo parts are hard to find aftermarket.

I would look for vacuum leaks before I did any parts changing

Oil pan leak

JB Weld should work, however, I would recommend actually replacing it or bringing it into a shop for a more permanent fix. The JB Weld will probably only work for a short time and you are better off not taking a risk when it comes to oil, since not enough oil can lead to a siezed engine.
