1993 Audi Quattro CS100 Leaking!!

I own a 1993 Audi Quattro CS 100 and today it started steaming from out of the vents and leaking fluid on drivers side floor. I immediately parked the car and am trying to find a solution on how to fix this. I am wondering has wnyone had any similar issues and at what expense/difficulty....

Thanks for looking!

My Audi 100 CS Quattro was steaming from the vents and started overheating after 30min of driving. I have been told that it may be the heater core, but I don't know how to replace that on this car or where it is located.

Solution #2 is fine if you're trying to plug the hood release cable hole that allows water to flow into the 'cockpit' if it's not intact. What Tiffany describes is definitely the "heater core" as my 93 Audi 90 CS Quattro blew its top so-to-speak, summer of '09. On the other hand, I did add sealant to a new rubber boot for the hood release cable, only to find another driip in the same area. Must be a hole there somewhere nearby! Gonna need some food dye!

Easy fix Tiffany.less than $5 and 10 can fix it yourself. 1. go to your local auto parts store and buy a tube of silicone sealant. 2. go back home. 3.pop-up the hood and locate the fuse box (should be on driver side under the windshield).as you look at the box, right next to it ,on the right, you'll see the hood cable that have a rubber seal.that seal is usually broken or missing causing the water to go inside the car on the right side front and rear. 4 replace the seal with silicone (between the cable and the hole on the body, where the hood cable goes inside).let it dry.problem solved. one more thing: on the right side of the hood cable that you just fixed, is another hole (oval in shape) for draining.make sure that hole is not full of dirt or plugged.that's all.good luck! let me know. K?

I have an audi 100 cs quattro. My battery is good but my engine won't turn over. Could it be my starter?

How do you know your battery is good? A common mistake is to assume that if the lights, radio, etc, work that the battery must be good. A lot more energy is required to start the engine than is required for the accessories. If your battery isn't in great shape it won't turn the engine over.

Assuming you've checked that. Can you describe what happens when you try to start the car? Is there ANY noise? Clicking sound maybe? Could be the starter if you hear a buzzing noise (or no noise, assuming you do have a good battery).

Where is the control valve that controls the flow of coolant through the heater core in a 1993 Audi Quattro CS 90

on modern VW (group)product, they do not have a valve any more.they use a flap inside the heater box to control the flow of air instead.
