Question about 2000 Renault 181
Can some one help me pl i have a 98 megane which wont start red flashing light going off to make me think its the immobliser its try to trun over but no fule cause of it so is there a way to fix it reprogramme the key or over ride the immobliser before i pay arm and a leg for a new key pls help befor i get robbed thanks james
If you can find the fuel pump relay its under the bonnet at the front right hand side on a clio of the same year .the lower one.Well on a clio find the feed wire and then earth the other side of the relay and bobs not your uncle it will go,not sure about the megane though but if its a 98 then i think it will be the same system .I HATE RENAULT ELECTRICS ,all new cars are encrypted software and multi layered printed circuit in the ECU.Yea says some colonial cousin we have the freedom of information act here stateside .Brown stuff of cows is my answer ,just label it security and all your autoshop outlets are reading the wrong codes,ONLY THE FACTORY CAN READ THE ECU,trust me ,encrypted phone line ,confirmed phone line, computer ip,fingerprint recognition of user, use of bar code on factory only parts to program in.This is what you call progress.
