my focus has 96000 miles on the clock

I have the same problem. (90ps model) I got the car when it had covered just over 100,000 miles. It was okay then, good acceleration, typical turbo lag, but nothing uncommon.
Now at 125,000 it is slow, I cannot feel the turbo any longer, pulling out from junctions is a nightmare, even with my foot flat down, it is crawling... very dangerous, especially at roundabouts.
I have checked all the hoses, turbo and I have changed the glow plugs and all filters... Still the same. It's been to two garages and still, they are unable to find the problem... Next step engine re-mapping to 110ps. If anyone finds the solution, please email me at Thanks!

Make sure the car is not running on the battery only and the alternator is good and all of the vaccum lines are good and they are on and ask yourself when was the last time you had a tuneup spark plugs and wires if needed and drivebelt and a fuel filter and a air filter.
