Question about 2000 Jaguar S-Type
Hiya, its a renault megane scenic 1.6e rt 8v Sreg. we have just had a blown head gasket, that has been replaced also has the oil and oil filter and timing belt, the problem started before the gasket went, the heater wasnt getting hot so we got a new thermostat and fitted it, that didnt work as it still wouldt get hot. anyhow we have also changed the water pump but now it is not circulating the water, any ideas?
It sounds like there is a blockage in the system look for very stiff coolant lines or it coulc be the heater core in the cab or on the fire wall. is the engine getting up to temp ? or is it just not getting hot in the cab?
