Climate Control How do I activate the dual control on my climate control for Audi A4. I know you operate both temperatures from the drivers but I can't remember how to re-set since a passenger individually changed it. Very frustrating

Simply press and hold the "Auto" button on the driver's side for a few seconds, until you see the temperatures on both sides match. From then on, adjusting the temperature on the driver's side will simultaneously adjust the passenger side temperature identically. To turn of this feature (as you've learned, unintentionally), simply adjust the temperature on the passenger side. This will disengage the control from the driver's side and they will once again each work independently.

Climate control is dead?

It sounds like one of 2 things happened:
1. You blew a fuse, be sure to check the fuse panel
2. You knocked the power block to the climate control system loose. Check that the power block leading to the climate controll is tight into the control unit

Only my passenger side fan activates at about 197 degrees according to the climate control diagnostics. The driver side fan never activates. Is this a malfunction? My temperature gauge gets awfully...

I don't know the specifics of your car but one of my cars has two fans but one only operates when the A/C is switched on. I don't know what you are referring to with climate control diagnostic? That same car of mine almost gets too hot before it kicks on. Maybe someone with a car like yours could answer that.

My econ light remains on, on my 04 Audi A4. Various post report check the fuses initially. Which fuse do i need to check specifically?

This is normally one of 3 problems:

1 - Refriant too low
2 - Pressure sensor faulty
3 - Climate Control Unit faulty

In order of cost -

1 - Re gas approx 49 pounds
2 - New sensor - 50 Pounds
3 - New climate control unit circa 700 pound

I have just had the same issue and after a re gas and new sensor it all works okay.

Need to find and fix blend door on 2001 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8L

you would have to remove the dash. i would first check the auxilary water pump to make sure it's not leaking. if your car has electronic climate control turn the heat on low with the engine off the change the temperature and listen for an electric motor sound to see if the blend motor is working.

1999 Audi A4 Climate Control Removal/Installation

You have to remove the trim panel around the stereo/climate control to expose the screws that hold it in place. Once you do that, and the screws are removed, it pulls straight out and unplugs. No need to disconnect the battery and no tricks to it once it slides out.
