Question about 2004 Audi A4
Press and hold down the auto button on your side, it will re sync

Simply press and hold the "Auto" button on the driver's side for a few seconds, until you see the temperatures on both sides match. From then on, adjusting the temperature on the driver's side will simultaneously adjust the passenger side temperature identically. To turn of this feature (as you've learned, unintentionally), simply adjust the temperature on the passenger side. This will disengage the control from the driver's side and they will once again each work independently.
