Depending on size of fuel tank, dump a couple of bottle's of gasline antifreeze in there and some fresh fuel, and make sure you take vehicle for a good run out the highway to get catalytic converter up to optimum temperature before going for test.

Idle air control (IAC) control rpm idle during idle.

Test it on idle with ALL electrical on full force.
RPM should increase.
If RPM remain the same then IAC is question.

1993 Chevy Suburban will not start and has no spark

Check all fuses under the hood. Test the coil with an ohmmeter. Check for battery voltage on the coil primary with key on.
If all good, suspect the crank position sensor. A bad sensor will cause no spark.
