Question about 1985 Ford Thunderbird

Need Accessories For My '85 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe

I'm searching for 2 Turbo Coupe Emblems that fit in a cavity at the
front center of each door. It is rubber, and solid black in color with
the Turbo Coupe Insignia etched into the rubber. I also need 2 pcs.
of trim that goes between the driver side window, and passenger side
window, and small rear window. This trim runs vertical, and is about
2 inches wide by 14 inches long approx. There are 4 of these total
as I have 2 of them, but I'm missing 2. This Coupe was jet black from
the factory, and has a thin reddish orange strip that runs along the body
moulding. I've tried finding these items, but I'm having no luck.

You might be able to find them in the ford motorsports catalog... you can get the catalog at the parts counter at any dealership. you might get lucky at a junk yard

87 thunderbird turbo coupe misfire from idle until 3g then hitting boost n runs smooth

check that the turbo is actually working at the lower rpms.check to see if it is a variable vane turbo where the vanes for the turbine wheel can be altered to produce boost at lower rpms. The vanes are controlled by a actuator on the turbo and is controlled by a vacuum hose controlled by the ECM. The misfiring may be actually over fuelling ( mixture too rich as the boost is too low for the mixture)

1987 Ford Thunderbird LX was running with no problems I changed out the wires and plugs and now it will start and then shuts off.

Could be a coincidence, but it may be the ignition switch on the steering column. I had the same frustrating thing happen with my 1988 turbo coupe. The 4 fingers that hold the 2 halves of the ignition switch together come loose, allowing the insides to momentarily loose contact. Take off the bezel around the instruments and then the plastic upper and lower trim around the steering column. The ignition switch is on the r/s just toward the front from the key. If you see a gap between the 2 halves, that is likely the problem. You need tamper proof torx to remove to tighten, be careful not to pull it all the way apart. I have fixed a mustang with long zip ties around the switch and column, but it's better to tighten the fingers. Carefully. I use big channel locks.

Where is the fuel pump relay and the reset switch (inertia) on a 1988 thunderbird turbo coupe

Relay is inside the ICM (Integrated Control Module) right ahead of the right shock tower. The inertia switch should be in the trunk, on the right side.
