No spark or no fuel pressure

( 1993- egale talon) I was driving down the road and in just out of no ware the car shut off.. i checked to see it was getting any spark and it was not. so i thought it was the coil or crank shaft sensor or just somthing dilling with the elec system.. then when i removed one of the spark plugs i notice that the cyliders was not getting any gas!! so what would make the fuel system and the ignition system go out at the same time?

It could be the crack sensor.

98eagle talon won't start,it turns over but the motor won't start.what could be the problam

Hi William:
2 ingredients:

Fuel - Has to be getting into cylinders.
Spark - Hot blue spark needed at tup of spark plugs

Either you have run out of gas, or a component has failed.
If you have spark, I would be suspicious of a fuel pump failure so would check fuel pressure. Should be about 40PSI.

MY 1996 Egale Talon Cranks no spark

Some cars if you dont have fuel pressure it wont have a spark , start simple , check your fuses in side driving compartment first , if no spark or run check under hood fuses , and go from there .
So many times i have started pulling my hair out thinking it was something terrible and it was a cheep fuse in the dash panel .

1993 mercury village engine was running was driving down road it shut down, check engine light was on , friend said to change fuel pump and still no spark at engine plugs, what should i try next? is there...

Fuel pumps don't have anything to do with spark. Have the codes read. My guess you lost the crank sensor, ignition module, or coil. Check your fuses also.

1993 eagle talon will not start

There are many possibilities and alot that can cause this, but my first instinct was a cracked head gasket from what you described! You might check your oil and make sure it isn't milky or anything. Usually, the car will start to overheat before busting the head gasket, but not always. One other thing that has happened to my grandmothers car, it looked like a cracked head, smoked, and sputtered bad, but come to find out, it was a clogged catalytic converter. I would still make sure you are getting spark and also check the fuel pressure if able. One way to tell if your fuel pump went out is when you first turn your car on, but before you start it, you will hear the fuel pump pressurizing the system, it kinda sounds like air or somewhat of a buzzing sound. Hope this helps some or puts you in the right direction. Good luck!

91 eagle talon 2.0 going doun the road quit running, checked coil for spark nothing but i also checked fuel pump an nothing ecsept when u crank the engine shouldnt it pressurise before trying to start?

No spark and no fuel pressure? That sounds like a bad ECU. I would check the ignition coil, and the signal coming from the ECU to the ignition coil. Then I would check the voltage going to the fuel pump. Next, check the timing belt and make sure the correct timing is set.

When you turn your key to the ON position, you should hear your fuel pump pressurize for a few seconds.
