Question about 1993 GMC Sonoma Club
-5 speed v6 1991 sonoma
my sonoma loses power randomly (back pressure ??)
really got it reve it .. pops a few times and then runs smooth
took it for a run around the block a few times today and lost "power" about 5-6 times.. runs great when its not losing power
-truck is also having rough starts (really gotta hold the key when turning it over)
im new to this site and am really hoping someone can help me out :)
any ideas? ---cheers
Could be the crankshaft sensor causing the timing to be off if it has a coilpack type distributor or if it has a gear driven distributor then it could be either the distributor itself or possibly just cap and rotor
