I have a Toyota Camry CE 2007 with a little over 14,000 miles on it. Today a warning light came on that sort of looks like this: (!) except there's a squiggly line underneath the exclamation point. I know it could mean several different things for different cars, but I don't know what it means for mine! My dad is out of the country right now, and my mom doesn't know either. I can't find the owner's manual (I KNOW...). Could someone who would know for sure please help? Thanks!

All it means is 5000 miles have passed since the oil change reminder was reset. You can reset it your self. Look in the Camry Hyrbid Owners Manual on Page 148 for the Resetting the engine oil maintenance data procedure. Make sure you have the A trip odometer showing when you follow along.
Most maintenance lights are set to come on automatically every 5,000 miles telling you to get your oil changed. If you do your own service, or have someone other then the Toyota dealer service your vehicle, look for that light description in the owners manual where it explains the dash lights and go to the page explaining it and it should give you the procedure to reset that light when it comes on.
It might leave you stranded. Because without the alternator. which I think is your problem your battery will run down in a very short time. Even if you had a new battery.Check the belt first as Toyota Ed suggested. If it's good, and not broken. Replace the alternator and if you have to, the battery also. One could affect the other.
