Question about 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe
It has run fine but got it stuck wrap on it a bit to get it out ran fine on way home parked it that night got -30 below and hasn't started again even when warm. checked fuel filter it was fine and plenty of gas coming out of filter when key is on. My plugs where a little fouled but cleaned them up I have tryed to put fuel down throttle body still nothing I don't understand no miss firing before no rough idle just stoped wanting to start a bomb would end the problem but I would still be with out transportation so not good idea can anybody help me please ASAP!!!!
The three things an automobile has to have to run are compression, fuel, and fire. I think you need to check the firing. I would remove one of the plugwires and insert a screwdriver into the end of the plugwire, have someone turn the engine over while you hold the screwdriver about 1/4 inch away from metal on the engine if you get a spark then it is firing and you need to move on the next option. I hope that helps!
