My turn signals and brake lights no longer are working I checked all the fuses and they are fine. I didnt know if there was some kind of relay located near the fuse box, that may be shot?

there is no relay for the brakes but there is separate flasher for the signals. Your problem is more likely a wiring or switch issue, as these systems use the same bulbs. Check the wiring at the back of the truck. If someone put a trailer connection in there, that might be the problem. If not, the stop light wires go up the steering column to the turn switch and then back down to the lights. I have pasted your wiring diagram below and also instructions for getting to the switch in the steering column. This requires a couple special tools that you may be able to rent or borrow. Sorry this is not good news...

Turn switch access:

  • Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  • Remove the steering column trim.
  • Remove the horn pad from the steering wheel.
    • Remove the steering wheel and horn collar.
    • Use a suitable puller to remove the steering wheel.
    • With a suitable compressor, compress the preload spring to the lock plate. Compress the spring only enough to remove the snap ring.
    • Use a pick and a small flat blade screwdriver to remove the snap ring.
    • Remove the lock plate, horn contact carrier, and spring.
    • Remove the bolts at the upper steering column support and the upper mounting bracket from the column.
    • Disconnect the turn signal wiring connector.
    • Wrap tape around the wire and connector.
    • Remove the hazard warning knob from the column.
    • Remove the switch retaining screws and remove the switch.

Need to replace signal light flasher can not find old one

The turn signal flasher and hazard units are usually located located under the dash either to the left or right of the steering column on most models:
    1. Remove the turn signal flasher unit or hazard unit by pulling them up from the electrical connection.
    2. To install, push the unit(s) into the electrical connector.
Also, I suggest check your repair manual in this link: Jeep ZJ-Secc-8W-Wiring-Diagrams

    Hope helps (remember rated this).

I'm looking for the turn signal flasher unit on a 1993 Buick LeSabre. I found the 4-way flasher which is clipped onto a support by the steering column but can't find the turn signal flasher. I bought a new...

The turn signal flasher is above the emergency brake petal and about 6 inches above, hid by a wiring harness. It is in a clip so pull it out and leave the wire hang to replace the new flasher. If you locate the fuse box drop it down by releasing the two metal clips left and right , the flasher will be directly above the left side of the panel.

your turn sig switch in the steering column is probably worn out and needs to be replaced, have a steering column specialist come out and fix or go to the dealer.
