No, As Most Automatic Transmissions DO NOT have DRAIN PLUGS, You Must Remove the Transmission OIL PAN to Drain, Done this way Because When it is Drained it It Is FOR Servicing the Unit, This entails
1. Remove Pan w / Fluid And CLEAN PAN
2. Remove and Replace Trans. Filter
3. Be sure Gasket Surface IS CLEAN VERY WELL On Pan AND Transmission
4. Install Trans. PAN With Gasket Carefully
5. Refill Trans With Recommended Transmission
Type and Quantity of Automatic Transmission FLUID.
Usually Approx. 5-7 Qts.

No drain plug, no car or truck has had a drain plug for decades, reason? they want the filter changed with the fluid, so they make you pull the trans pan to drain the fluid, one very messy job.

95 dodge stratus

Is it still fine? Some people, even mechanics, think you can use transmission fluid other that ATF+3 or ATF+4. YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT use even a drop in your transmission. If there is ANY, completely drain and fill with proper fluid.

The filter is inside the transmission. You need to take the pan off the bottom then you can replace the filter and the pan gasket.

Transmission fluid

put in 3 quarts then run it until the trans fluid is hot and recheck, DONOT OVERFILL! u will most likely end up adding about 1 1/2 more quarts to top it off. Add the additional fluid slowly and recheck often.
