Question about 2007 Volvo S40 2.4i Sedan
We live in The Bahamas ans can not find anyone that can reprogram a key for a 1999 S40. Japan wants me to ship it back over with all the associated paperwork to "prove" it is not stolen.
I live in the Bahamas and have the same problem ( lost Key ) with a 2001 S40 Volvo.
Did you have any luck ?? - I see your post is over one year old

The United states will do the samething. the volvo dealer here would need registration and proof of ownership first to cut or reprogram and key. they need the vin number. i would suggest maybe next time in florida, you can do this.
hope this fixes it. jeff
