Fuel filter location on BMW 118i petrol year 2005

Loosen the bolt on the tensioner pulley with a socket wrench to release the pressure on the main belt. Note how the belt is looped around the pulleys so you can put it back properly and then remove the belt from the pulleys.
Locate the bolts on the back of the fan blade and remove the bolts with an open-end wrench. Once the fan blade is loose, remove it from the engine compartment.
Remove the fan pulley from the front of the water pump by unbolting the four bolts that attach the units with a socket wrench. Detach the four nuts that are holding the water pump to the engine block with a socket wrench.
Tap the water pump with a rubber mallet to loosen the seal and pull it away from the engine. Clean any debris away from the engine block where the water pump was attached with a wire brush.
Place a layer of white lithium grease around the O-ring that was included with the new water pump. Position the new water pump and O-ring over the engine block and attach the pump using a socket wrench to secure the pump with nuts.

Antifreeze leaking near water pump

Best way and safe to check coolant leak. Use or you can rent one from
auto part store. "Radiator pump presure tester"
Let the engine cold down and hook it to radiator filler neck make sure it's good tight then pum untill you feel some presure, then it time to check for leak. You'll be able to see water comes out.

Coolant Leak 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2WD 4.0L

the cooling system is a bit complex. but leaks are easy.
leaks tell you hey,IM busted fix me now.

don't burn up the engine with ignored leaks,
warping the heads is no fun or cheap... at all.
so what going on
well if you are running 50% antifreeze its good,
if running water bad,
i cant see your flood and judge that color. puddle.
the system is under 14psi pressure if cap is good.
top failure is the thermostat 7 year life is typ.

That pressure is your friend if you had looked
at the actual engine, hose and rad, with hood up
you could find the leak.
at any hose, RAD,engine block , manifolds.
Best is the get engine to 180f + normal temp
1: cold engine,
2: fill the rad(at cap off neck) full of 50% AF
cap back on. start in in PARK
3: get engine hot. 180f+ normal. means normal hot.
4: the system will go to 14psi pressure , normal.
4b: hose large feel hard, yup 14psi there.
5: now leaks happen when under pressure,(failed system)
6: we now look in all directions, of all parts seen below, top, bottom left right and under. yup , under
we then find the leak.
look for squirting,as that can make things wet that are NOT BAD. LOOK and you will find the leak
if totally confused
tow the car to a service shop, ASE rated, best.

It could be lots of things, when experienced them all one tends not to guess.
this is an inline 6, one of the more easy engine
to work on, 2.5L even more easy but is a cut down, I6
look at the head gasket seam for leaks 4 sides.
and all core plugs, in view. for leaks.

those are external leaks , internal a whole other long story.

Where is the water pump on a Grand am pontiac 1993

should be behind the timing casing on the front of of the engine block or possibly behind the third belt pully but they changed them on most year models try looking around behind the alternator near to where the pully joins the belt going to the engine block

Where are the Freeze Plug on a 1999 Chevrolet Truck > Venture > "

There are a number of them located in around the engine block. Under the heads on the sides of the block, a couple on the rear of the block behind the transmission bellhousing and a couple on the front of the engine near the water pump.

The water pump was replaced, thermostat replaced, car spews water from the overflow tube and emptys the water from the engine!

Probably either head gasket blown, or crack in head or block. Have you had the engine hot lately? Look for white smoke out of exhaust that will confirm head gasket or cracked block or head.

Where is the water pump located on a 2000 Saturn

Standing on the passenger side of the car with the hood open looking down into the engine bay you will see the serpentine belt. If you have air conditioning, look directly below the air compressor pulley, the next one down is the water pump. Another easy way to find it is to find the lower radiator hose (again on the passenger side of the engine) and follow it to the engine block, the pulley where the hose meets the block is the water pump (not the pulley, but what the pulley spins is the pump).

Does the water pump have a belt

yes the belt goes around the pump to circulate coolant through engine it is not a special single belt it also turns steering and alternator, in single belt vehicles in 2 belt engines you will have to see which one goes around pump, the pump is usually located at he centre of the block at the front near the bottom

Coolant does not seem to be circulating in radiator(94 z28 camaro). The radiator is brand new and it seems not to flow even without the thermastat on. I hate to think it is the water pump again, since the...

Remove the thermostat and run the car. Without the thermostat you should see FULL flow thru the radiator. You can pull the top radiator hose WHERE IT ATTACHES TO THE RADIATOR and start the engine with a garden hose stuck in the filler opening. Don't turn the hose on so hard that it blows water out the radiator hose. You want to water pump to shoot water out the disconnected hose, not the garden hose. A hose COULD be blocked, but it would have to be a pretty big blockage to cut off all flow. Not likely in my opinion. You could take them off and look in them and the heater hoses too. You can blow compressed air thru the heater core to see if it is blocked. As for it being the water pump...they rarely break so bad they won't pump water. Usually the seal goes bad and they leak water out the shaft. Look around, I kinda think you have a bad thermostat. Stuck closed. Drop it in boiling water and see if it opens. You didn't say what engine is in the Camaro, but most of them have a small bypass hose on the top of the water pump running to the intake manifold. Pull it off and see if water sprays out when the engine is running.
