It looks like you can use:

Automatic transmission will not shift sometime and stay in D4 and sometime willwork 2or3 days just find. Honda Accord 1992 4 speed 2.2L EX

I would perform a drain and fill on the transmission fluid. This is supposed to be done more frequently, say every 30,000 miles. It should take somewhere around 3.5 quarts when refilling, start with 2.8 quarts, then check and add as necessary. Keep in mind, you are having issue with the shift quality, and it could go one of three ways ( stay the same, get worse, get better ). It depends what you are draining out, really. ( bad/worn fluid, clutch material ). Too, make sure to use Honda fluid. It is expensive, but when you are having issue, you don't want that as a variable ( wrong or after market fluid ). There is a drain plug ( sometimes two drain plugs - one lower than the other ) that takes a 3/8 drive wrench. The fill is a dipstick and you check while car is off and in park ( different than other cars ).

Transmission would not shift from first then changed solenoid and now 2 lights d3 and d4 are both lit while in park veh is 98 honda accord ex 2.3l 4 cyl

I don't know if this will help but I 'll give you my experience .... I have a 90 accord ex 2.2 l ( love these hondas) and my s light kept flashing .... I bought a book , took it to honda of fife they said i needed a new computer 750 bucks yaeh right....... I did some tweakin under the hood and found a broken transmission solenoid sensor wire and fixed that and noticed my tranny fluid level was a quart over full, so i drained some out.... used an ohm reader and found one faulty temp sensor of 4 or 5 , changed that (the main one for the fans) anyhow I am almost certain all my troubles stemed from the computer getting the over full signal or the faulty tranny solenoid reading..... now everything is top on it .... but before the computer kept me locked out of half of my tranny, ...........

Rough shifting automatic transmission on Honda Accord from 1st to 2nd gear

it has a problem with the second gear drum it cracks and does not fully engauge the n shifts to 3rd ..many honda owners also learn the 8 bucks a quart is the only fluid to pour in a honda..but remember 3 qaurts per drain and fill the tranny holds 7q ....it will take a case to do a drain flush...a high pressure flush will ruin a automatic tranny with alot of miles or metal deposits floating around inside..DRAIN AND FILL 3 QUARTS AT A TIME NO GASKET NEEDED ITS BUILT AND DESIGNED LIKE A MANUAL TRANNY
