Question about 2002 BMW 5 Series
Try jumping the X5 with another car. if it starts, then the battery is too weak start the SAV. if it doesn't start while jumping, try moving the transmission lever forward and aft, then back to park and give it a try. if no joy, see if it will start in neutral. i don't believe the brake has to be applied; mine doesn't.
when all else fails, try this site: www.x5world.com , go to forums and either use the search function at the bottom of the page. if search produces no results, then join and ask them. a wealth of info on this site.
