Question about 1992 Audi 80
There is a plastic cover, about 1 1/8" diameter, on the base of the post on each side. You can remove it with a screw driver by carefully prising upwards at the edge. They just clip down.
Once these are lifted away from the seat, you will see the wire clip that locks the headrest into the seat. Remove the clip on each post, and you can then remove the headrest.
Reassembly is the reverse.

Where the head rest go into the seat there should be a little button on the housing at the bottom of the headrest housing while holding this button in pull up on the headrest and bam there you go. I hope this helps. Don.t forget to rate my answer, thanks
