Question about 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier
OK HERE I GO AGAIN MISS FIRE ON ALL CYLINDERS WAS FIXED BY NEW PLUGS WIRES COIL PACKS MODULE FUEL INJECTERS FILTER EVERYTHING I COULD THINK OF RUNS GREAT NOW CODES CLEARED FOR TWO DAYS NOW ON A WET NASTY DAY ENGINE LIGHT AND ETS LIGHT CAME BACK ON STILL RUNNING FINE BUT JUST A LITTLED WORRIED PLEASE HELP
Fdarrin, The first thing I would like to try is to take a pump water spray bottle filled with water. On a dry day when the engine is running fine, have the engine running and begin to "mist" water with the spray bottle on small sections of the ignition coils. You want to see if you can recreate the problem. Continue to spray the coils, spark plug wires and spark plugs and sensors until you get the problem to reoccur. It should help you narrow down were the problem might be. A cracked coil tower or coil is possible.
Let me know.
