All gauges and controls all function properly but do not light up. could it have been a possible short from stereo install? What fix options are best? I may be interested in aftermarket cluster.
Hi William, I'm glad to help!
William, after working in the automotive field for over 40 years I can tell you that most electrical problems that occur after someone has installed a stereo system comes from a fuse blown somewhere in the system. Take a test light and check all the fuses first if you find one blown replace it and see if everything starts working again. If everything starts working again then your fine, BUT, if its still not working then don't stop there because more then one fuse may have been blown keep going until all fuses have been checked. Hope this helps and have an awesome day William.
