Drive on hghway on 5 th gear sudlley pop out like in neutral.try to put in 5 but stik feel like is in ,but 5 gear just its not ther still driving on all gears up to 4 ,no noise no nothing ,just no more 5 gear..Thanks

check the drain plug magnet for metal bits . If any the box has to come out 4.th gear is straight shaft connection and 5 gear connects from the cluster shaft up to the out put shaft . On either side is a rear main bearing and from your description if that bearing is failed then the 4th gear syncro will not align properly and the gear for 5th will be out of alignment so the syncro to work will not work
IT is possible that the transmission was damaged during clutch replacement. IF the box didn't slip home easily but was pulled into place with the flange bolts the damage would be in the clutch plate but it may have put pressure in the input shaft and bearing. The jumping out of gear is indicative of a misaligned gear box to bell housing situation Undo all the flange bolts and check that there is nothing caught between the faces of the box and housing . Re-tension going around the bell housing tightening each bolt a bit at a time . Check that the flange face and the bell housing are together all the way round.5 th gear is in effect outside the gear box proper and is inside the extension housing and is remote from the problem if the box is properly aligned . If misaligned then the wobble in the input shaft will wobble the output shaft which will work the 5th gear out of mesh
If you can select gears then it is not stuck in neutral. To be stuck in neutral means that you can only move the lever sideways and no where else. Now the problem is probably the clutch is in constant disengaged position This is from a hydraulic lock in the system from a faulty master cylinder/ jammed cable. As 4 gear is a straight through gear( Input shaft is connected directly to out put shaft) then the 2 causes for this --one not properly engaged and 2 loose or misaligned gear box bolts at the bell housing. So check hydraulics system/ cable and check that the gear box is not loose

what does stopped working mean . 1: shifter fails to select 5 gear H pattern slot. 2: grinds? 3: cant force it to 5th with clutch depressed.? is free play at spec? 4: raise front wheels off ground, can you get in to 5th now? keyout and running? 5: can you get into 5th parked engine off, and select 5th and then start car in 5th with clutch depresses first step. then slowly very slowly attempt to move car starting in 5th, but dont finish, just feel the gear, feel that its there and not neutral.
Hello You will need to have an experienced technical drive this before attempting any repairs, but my gut feeling is that you will need to rebuilt the transmission. That takes many special tools and a high degree of skill and training and is not something that really can be done at home with common hand tools.
Sounds like you may have bent a shift fork or your cluster gear has some missing teeth on it now. I would venture to say that is it a bent shift fork. This will require the transmission be removed to gain access to inspect and repair.
if it only revs when you put it in 5th gear then it is not in fifth gear. it may look like it but it is not. try moving the gear selector from fourth into neutral releasing the clutch fully then applying the clutch and initiating fifth gear. if that does not work try placing it into one of the other gears first without releasing the clutch and then selecting fifth.
you should be fine driving in four gears as long as you dont travel on the audobahn or at speeds like your on the audobahn. Just watch your redline. try not to go past it. i think it is actually better for your car to drive at higher revolutions than lower as it cleans out your combustion chamber of carbon. on the other hand it is ******* your engine to drive in the red line constantly.
but 3000 rpm in 4th gear probably has you driving 130km/hr (82mph) which should be sufficient and your redline probably does not start until somewhere between 4-5k
