Hi,
a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.

P0724 corolla code

The 724 is a transmission solenoid code, this and other codes as well as transmission shifting issues, there is a recall for the computers for corollas from 2005 - 2008, I would recommend you make an appointment with the Toyota dealer so they can check the computer number to see if it applies to your vehicle, if so they will replace the computer at no charge to you.

What is the oil change interval for a 2005 toyota corolla

3 months interval or after every 3000 miles would be an recommended change by oil companies.

But i personally prefer 4 months interval or after every 3000 miles whichever is earlier would do.

What is the life expectancy of a 2005 Toyota motor/engine? I may be buying a 2005 Toyota with 65,555 miles. The asking price is $10,000. It has only had 1 owner.

It all depends on how it is maintained. It is a reliable car with a reliable engine. The engine will outlast the car. However, if the previous owner didn't take care of it, it will eventually let you down. A good friend of mine owns an 06 Corolla which he bought used last fall.. It has not been perfect but he also doesn't care about his cars. (His previous car went at least 75,000 miles without so much as an oil change.)

I think you're in the clear!

I HAVE A 2005 TOYOTA COROLLA WITH 79000 MILES, AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT JUST TURNED ON,AND THE TRANSMISSION IS KICKING WHEN SHIFTING. FLUID IS LIGHT AND FULL,BUT I HAVE NOT DONE TIMING BELTS OR ANYTHING...

I think your car has a timing chain. There are a thousand things that can turn that light on. Have a shop ck it for trouble codes and that will give a direction on what to do next. Keep out af any chain store operation. If you cant find a good independent garage go to the dealer.

2006 Toyota Corolla ECM Replacement Price?

your best bet is to get a used ecm form a salvage yard it should cost you about 200 dollars that is far cheaper than going to a dealership or a parts store. generally that is what i do when i replace ecms. there are plenty of wrecked vehicles and the ecm is good in them so why pass it up to get a part that cost brand new about 1500 dollars.. goodl luck. please rate this
