Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Today I went to start my car and found it would not start w/o my foot giving it gas. I would take my foot off the gas and the car would die. At the same time I notice my rpm gauge and mph gauge were not working? I don't know if the problems are connect or if it was a coincidence that they both start to act up at the same time. Thanks.
Check and clean the idle air valve at the back of the air inlet (near the tps) Do not turn the valve when cleaning and make sure you clean out the passageway in the air inlet as well. Unit goes straight in and removes straight out. dont loose rubber seal ring while working.Another thing that can give same symptom is cam and crank sensor being out of phase but worry abolut that later...
